Hazard,  Vulnerability , Exposure , Capacity , Risk, Hazard Vulnerability Risk Assessment, Disaster, Disaster Management, Disaster Management Cycle, Response, Relief, Recovery, Rehabilitation, Mitigation and Early Warning Systems are introduced. The learner will be able to understand meaning and purpose of the important terms commonly used. The course may be considered prelude to Advance Concepts of Disaster Management.
